The Community of Practice (CoP) Coordinators will be responsible for coordinating, animating, and supporting a Community of Practice with 80 participants on accelerating the achievement of the SDGs. This CoP was launched in October 2024 in Nairobi and builds on the successful three-day workshop organised jointly by Strathmore University Business School and the NGO Management Association from 1–3 October 2024 at Strathmore University (see here for details: https://www.ngomanager.org/post/nairobiworkshoprecap). One Coordinator will be based in Switzerland and the other in Kenya, working as a team to ensure coordination and effective knowledge sharing across the network.

The positions are designed to foster peer exchanges, facilitate knowledge co-creation, and promote practical, experience-based learning among a diverse range of organisational actors—including practitioners, managers, and sector experts from non-profits, foundations, donors, the private sector, and government, working across different contexts, geographies, and thematic focus areas. By curating relevant content, organising and moderating interactive discussions and webinars, and supporting member-led initiatives, the Coordinators play a key role in ensuring that the Community of Practice remains responsive, inclusive, and strategically aligned with members’ evolving needs and field-level realities
among diverse actors engaged in advancing the SDGs.
