[CONFERENCE] Social entrepreneurship and philanthropy - organisé par le WEF
On 8 and 9 June 2022, the GCP organizes an international conference ("the Conference") on Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy, in Geneva, in partnership with the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, sister organisation of the World Economic Forum.
The Conference is a global event, gathering some of the most prominent scholars in the field as well as government representatives and other important stakeholders engaged in fostering social entrepreneurship. The Conference is meant to be an interactive event. During these two days conference, five workshops will take place, as well as a keynote speech.
Two workshops will take place on the first day (8 June 2022) of the Conference, and will be held at the UNIGE premises. We will conclude day 1 with a public conference open to the public. Three workshops will then take place on the second day (9 June 2022), and will be held, this time, at the World Economic Forum premises.
Participants will be able to attend all workshops if desired, or choose the ones that interest them most. The programme is structured to ensure continuity for those who attend the whole event. All of the workshops will be accessible online.
At the moment, the Conference is planned to be in presence. Considering the uncertainties of the pandemic situation and related restrictions, organizers may, if needed, decide to transform the Conference in an online event only.
